I’ve been shopping for a new kit for a while now (I’m very picky as I’m sure most of you are). While I’ve been looking through catalogs and stopping by my local music store, I’ve also been researching different wood types and composites. Birch and Maple kits have ranked high at the top of my list and I’ve been trying to find the best way to explain the differences.
No need to take too much time doing that since there was a great piece written about it already.
